Authentic Historical Inquiry: Impacting Learning through the use of SOURCES
The speaker will outline the stages of the SOURCES Framework for Teaching with Primary and Secondary Sources and demonstrate how educators can scaffold instruction so that learners can be afforded authentic and engaging opportunities to experience historical inquiry in K-20 classrooms.

The conference is open to all full-time and part-time/combined doctoral students who are in their doctoral dissertations addressing a diversity of topics in fields of pedagogy, didactics, special education, psychology and pedagogical andragogy. The conference title should be an inspiration, however, not limitation.
Every participant can choose whether he/she participates as active or passive.
The outcome of the conference will be a reviewed collection book with ISBN which will be published online and on a CD. Deadline for registration on the conference is until 1st November 2020. Full paper submission is possible until 31th December 2020.
Papers will be published in the form of a continuous text which is usual for the conference collection books.
Articles must fulfil the following criteria in order to be published in the collection book:
In case of failing one or more of the above-mentioned criteria, the article will not be published.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Education, Palacký University on Žižkovo Náměstí 5 in Olomouc. In front of the main building of the faculty is a statue of T. G. Masaryk. 10 minutes walk from the train station. This year 2020 due to COVID-19 situation will be fully online in MS Teams.
The whole conference and workshops are free. The only things you will have to invest are your time, energy and joy.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel any workshop because of the low number of registered participants.
The doctoral conference focuses on the current pedagogical issues in the research of the students of doctoral study programmes in 2018.
